

A cross-discipline project with Clint Adam Smyth and
Fred Holliss
I am in a slow, somewhat exciting process of collaborating with Clint
Adam Smyth in a poetry/photography project we call Crossing Boundaries.
My fourth book of poetry, Something Vaguely Architectural, was
a collaboration between myself and Robert Duke, an architect with L'Atelier
Design in Calgary. I wrote the words, and he generated images in response
to them. Clint and I decided to go the other way, wherebye he would take
some photographs and I would write something influenced by them.
The project was started in 1994 and is ongoing. Here we have some "backstage"
shots from a photoshoot done with Maureen ("Mo") and Steve.
Clint is the one wearing the hat.
