Crossing Boundaries gif

A cross-discipline project with Clint Adam Smyth and Fred Holliss

I am in a slow, somewhat exciting process of collaborating with Clint Adam Smyth in a poetry/photography project we call Crossing Boundaries. My fourth book of poetry, Something Vaguely Architectural, was a collaboration between myself and Robert Duke, an architect with L'Atelier Design in Calgary. I wrote the words, and he generated images in response to them. Clint and I decided to go the other way, wherebye he would take some photographs and I would write something influenced by them.

The project was started in 1994 and is ongoing. Here we have some "backstage" shots from a photoshoot done with Maureen ("Mo") and Steve. Clint is the one wearing the hat.
